About the event
Stephan-N Tchividjian, sometimes known as “Stitch”, was born in the hills of North Carolina, deep within the Blue Ridge Mountains. However, he would not settle there. His childhood provided him a wonderful opportunity to live all over the world, including Europe and the Middle East. Stephan comes from an interesting heritage and is part of a wonderful legacy. Stephan’s father was born in Villars, Switzerland as a result of his grandfather, Ara Tchividjian fleeing Armenia, during the genocide. Stephan considers Switzerland his “home away from home” and is proud of his Swiss passport. Additionally, he was born as the eldest grandchild of the Reverend Billy Graham, which provided Stephan at an early age, a Christian perspective on life, that he maintains to this day.
Stephan is married to his beautiful bride, Lisa, whom he met while in high school and then later through their South Florida church. The rest is history, as they say. Lisa and Stephan, together have five wonderful children ages 35 to 15, seven grandchildren and two sons-in-law, a wonderful daughter-in-law and some incredible friends. They reside in South Florida where Lisa keeps busy as a homemaker and grandmother while serving on the staff of the non-profit, Every Mother’s Advocate (EMA). Stephan graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a degree in Business Finance. He has always found it important to balance both the non-profit and business worlds, finding the challenge and opportunity refreshing. Stephan’s varied experiences in the business, church and philanthropic communities have uniquely equipped him for the roles he currently holds.
Stephan currently serves as one of the founders and the president of the board of the National Christian Foundation of South Florida, formed as a platform to encourage and facilitate generous giving among the South Florida community, impacting local, national and international needs. In addition, Stephan currently manages his own small boutique consulting firm, The Caleb Group, specializing in assisting select non-profits and for-profits with comprehensive project management through the idea to the implementation phases. Previously to beginning The Caleb Group, Stephan’s experiences provided opportunities to serve as the Senior Program Director of the Festus and Helen Stacy Foundation. Stephan serves as an Assistant Pastor at Calvary Chapel and serves as a member of the board of directors. Additionally, Stephan serves on the board of directors of OneHope, Egbe Medical Mission, Sharable, GivenGain USA, Cimarron Insurance Company, Trustbridge USA, and the board of advisors for STG and Flex Education.
Stephan’s love for God, people, the outdoors (especially the tropics and mountains) and life can often be observed through his energy and enthusiasm towards whatever he sets his mind too. As a devoted husband, and father of five, with a good sense of humor, hard work ethic and an appreciation for God and the purpose of life, Stephan’s enthusiasm can be contagious.
